These terms cover use of the Data Pilots website and Trust Check service. We have kept them as short and plain as possible. If something is unclear, email us — we would rather explain than hide behind legal language.
Data Pilots provides a website trust and compliance audit tool for learning and development (L&D) businesses. The service scans publicly visible content on the website URL you submit and returns a report covering four areas: UX trust signals, Transparency, Safety, and AI Trust.
The service is operated by Toni Dumas, trading as Data Pilots, based in England & Wales.
The free Trust Check is available to anyone without creating an account. To use it, you submit a website URL. Our scan engine analyses publicly visible content on that URL and returns a score and findings.
The free scan is for informational purposes only. Results are not stored after your session ends and cannot be retrieved.
Only scan websites you own or have explicit permission to scan.
By submitting a URL, you confirm that you have the right to have that website scanned. Do not use the Trust Check to scan competitors, clients, or third-party websites without their knowledge and consent.
You must not use Data Pilots to:
We reserve the right to block access to anyone using the service in a way that causes harm or violates these terms.
Trust Check results are informational. They are designed to surface practical issues and help you understand where gaps exist — they are not a legal opinion, a compliance certification, or a guarantee that your website meets any specific regulatory requirement.
If you need legal advice on GDPR, data protection, or contractual compliance, consult a qualified solicitor or data protection specialist. We can point you in the right direction — email us.
The Co-Pilot subscription gives you access to additional features including full findings, fix guides, a trust proof PDF, and monthly re-scans.
Subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time — there is no minimum term, no annual lock-in, and no cancellation fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Pricing is displayed at datapilots.co/#pricing and may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Your scan results belong to you. You may use them in proposals, procurement responses, or internal documents without restriction.
We provide the Trust Check service in good faith and aim for accuracy, but we cannot guarantee that scan results are complete, error-free, or up to date at all times. Websites change — a scan is a point-in-time view.
To the extent permitted by law, Data Pilots is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information in a Trust Check report. Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
